Feel creatively energized with Story Starts, a 3-week workshop series! You’ll discover how to add a “spine” to your story, construct a motivated character, and add surprising details that bring a narrative to life.

📝 Here’s how it works:

We’ll spend three weeks learning and writing together in a cozy workshop setting. This creative writing series aims to help you learn, write, and experiment within a supportive community.

🌻 This workshop is great for anyone who:

• Has never attended a creative writing workshop or did a while back.

• Is curious about the ins-and-outs of intentional storytelling, character development, and how to set a scene.

• Looks forward to writing and sharing within a small group (there will never be more than 8 writers in the workshop).

🌳 You can expect to leave the workshop with:

• Plenty of new writing and starts to stories.

• Prompts and “creative homework” to inspire your writing practice at home.

• Lots of new ideas and storytelling strategies to jumpstart your future writing.

• Increased self-compassion for your writing journey.

• A feeling of creative curiosity and courage ✨
