✨ Ready to write into the world of tiny tales and bite-sized storytelling?
This quick and joyful writing workshop will help you jumpstart and finish writing a tiny tale or two. (Fiction and nonfiction, we’ll cover both!)
Together we’ll embrace the creative constraint and delightful challenge of writing stories in miniature.
We'll also explore unique ways to “package” our brief bursts of writing. Get ready to write stories on postcards, paint chips, and more!
🌻 So, who is this workshop best for?
This workshop is likely a great fit for you if:
You like to write a lot—or a little!
You’re excited to start and finish a concise and speedy narrative.
You’re curious to try out a single writing workshop (it’s a quick 2 hours).
You feel prepared (though maybe also nervous) to share your writing.
You like to give encouraging feedback to your fellow writers—and receive supportive feedback in return!
You’re eager to get to know and connect with fellow writers in your community.
You look forward to writing within a small group (there will never be more than 8 writers in the workshop).
🌳 You can expect to leave the workshop with:
A tiny tale or two—and some writing on a postcard, paint chip, or two.
Prompts and “creative homework” to inspire your writing practice at home.
Lots of fresh ideas to jumpstart your future writing.
New friends who are also fellow writers.
A feeling of creative courage and possibility ✨
